Luisa Magalhaes joined Unitywater in October 2011 working first in Research and Innovation and then as an Environmental Planner with a focus on Total Water Cycle Management. Luisa has a background in environmental management and sustainability with 18 years of experience in the water sector, ranging from integrated water management and recycled water to water conservation and water allocation. Previous roles included leading collaborative projects with indigenous people and other stakeholders regarding environmental flows, water allocation and catchment management in New Zealand resulting in the delivery of several statutory catchment plans.
