I am currently a PhD student at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, the University of Tasmania. My PhD project is about understanding the subsurface marine heatwaves and their impacts on pelagic marine environments. My research interests are physical oceanography, climate change, physical drivers of ocean extremes (marine heatwaves particularly), and the ecological impacts of marine heatwaves.
