Sam Lynch works in the Water, Wetlands & Coastal Science Branch for the NSW Department of Planning and Environment. Sam has a passion for the marine environment, and aims to contribute to science and research which generates evidence based policy and solve real world problems. Sam is attempting to tackle marine debris in NSW, and has initiated a large scale monitoring programs for microplastics, and investigating pollution to sources and their pathways.
