Dr. Rackel San Nicolas is a Associate Professor in Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Melbourne and leads the Geopolymer and Minerals Processing Group. Her research focuses on improving the durability and sustainability of advanced cement and concrete technologies. She has led major collaborative projects with industry and government, conducting large-scale experiments on innovative concrete solutions. In collaboration with Arup, she is working to promote the use of sustainable materials to support the decarbonization of the concrete industry.
