Rebecca Morris
The University of Melbourne, VICTORIA, Australia
- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Rebecca Morris is a marine ecologist who is broadly interested in solutions-focused research to mitigate human impacts on coastal systems. Rebecca completed her PhD in 2016 at The University of Sydney, and is now a Research Fellow at the National Centre for Coasts and Climate, The University of Melbourne. Specifically, her research focus is the value of created or restored habitats (e.g. shellfish reefs, mangroves and macroalgal beds) to provide nature-based coastal defence, as well as other ecosystem services, in comparison to traditional engineered structures.
